Scholarship Overview

Rutgers University offers scholarships to talented international students who will be pursuing a full-time bachelor's degree in the University. The scholarship is available to international applicants who meet admission requirements and enroll full-time in the College of Arts and Sciences or the School of Business. All scholarships are contingent upon meeting Rutgers–Camden's admission requirements. The scholarship will provide up to $15,000 to all qualified students.

Rutgers University, officially Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is a public land-grant research university consisting of four campuses in New Jersey. Chartered in 1766, Rutgers was originally called Queen's College, affiliated with the Dutch Reformed Church. Eligibility

The eligibility requirements are;

  • Non-sponsored, international F-1 visa students (not sponsored by a government agency but who self-pay) and meet Rutgers University–Camden admission requirements.
  • Completion of required high school subjects
  • Academic performance in high school or its equivalent:
  • Strength of academic program (number/type of academic, honors, or advanced placement courses completed)
  • Grades and grade trends
  • Weighted grade-point average(s)
  • Cumulative rank, when available
  • SAT and/or ACT scores (test score submission optional for 2024 admission)
  • English Proficiency Examination results, when required

Application Instructions

  • There is no separate application for the scholarship. Applicants who meet the criteria are automatically considered when they apply and are admitted for admission to Rutgers–Camden.
